Tongariro NP
January 30 and 31st, On the historic Gentle Annie Road, we drive to a remote forest in the centre
of the island. We take the Desert Road to Whakapapa Village in the National Park Tongariro with its active
volcanoes, Mount Ruapehu, Mount Nguaruhoe and Mount Tongariro.
Here we'll stay in the Skotel Tongariro.
We will use our second day here to walk the
Tongariro Crossing.
