Omapere
January 23th, After we have received our car, we drive north to Matakohe, were we can visit the Kauri
and Pioneer museum. Later, we drive by Darga Ville to the fascinating Waipoua Kauri Forest,
with its thousand-year-old trees. We spend the night in the western coastal town of Omapere, where
we will stay in the
Omapere Tourist Hotel.
